US Marshal Ellis Stack is sent to track down a notorious outlaw, Otto Deiffelmann. His search takes him to a remote region known as the Buttes and Bluejoint. To make matters worse, the winter snows have just arrived. He finally encounters Deiffelmann with his heavily pregnant woman whom he unfortunately shoots. Now the marshal has two problems to face: the treacherous snow and a vicious gunman thirsting for revenge.
