Bad luck seems to be following me these days.
With the end of my first year at Thorne and Rose coming up, I have bigger things to worry about - like inevitable poor scores on all of my finals - but bad luck seems to be following me around these days. Everyone thinks I'm cursed after my run-in with Malphas, but there's no way. At least, I hope that there's no way.
Add to that an obligation to register my newfound powers with the Council and inescapable summer school, and it looks like I'm set up for failure this year.
Nicolette, Ciro, and Yulian will be with me this summer, but I have a feeling that together we'll be getting into more trouble than before - strange coincidences around the Academy need investigating and it's time for me to really get to know my powers.
Maybe we'll even manage to avoid detention while we're at it.
