About Bryan Forbes
Bryan Forbes began his career as an actor on the West End stage and later starred in films on both sides of the Atlantic. He went on to write, direct and produce numerous films, making his directorial debut with Whistle Down the Wind. He became Managing Director and Chief Executive of EMI-MGM at Elstree Studios. His writing, which includes short stories, spy thrillers and comic novels, has won him both national and international awards.
