The Tower at Moonville

This is a fast-moving fantasy story about what happens when two orphans, Nathan and Sam, swap places. Sam runs off with a circus, and Nathan finds himself in the strangest kind of school where no one learns anything and an odd scientist in the tower wants to enlist his help in contacting life from outer space. Set in the author's own idiosyncratic version of nineteenth-century England, this is an amusing and exciting adventure.
