'The Standout Finale' - The West Australian on Wisdom Tree's Noho installment

Charlie's in North Hollywood -- that's NoHo to you -- keeping his sister company while their mother tries to make her famous. He attends casting calls where he sits to the side and siphons free wifi, collects cans from the dumpsters of their affluent apartment building, and tries to keep his laptop battery topped up.
When his sister gets called for a new audition -- for a cop show, or some movie, or maybe a commercial (who knows anymore?) -- Charlie's mom drops him off at a prestigious art gallery where he can complete a school assignment long distance. The problem is, even after he's finished taking pictures, and even after he's completed his report -- and even after he's treated a security guard to pizza . . .
Callbacks in Hollywood are infrequent, and that's nevermind the "Please, stay for just another five minutes" appointments.
