Karen Hunter's life was changed forever on September 11th 2001 when her fianci Greg died at the World Trade CenterUnable to stay in the city, Karen decides to return to her hometown and start to rebuild her life. But Karen is distressed when she finds the Arab-American population is at the mercy of a hot-headed minority. After she is offered a job on the local newspaper, Karen finds herself campaigning against prejudice and, to her dismay, is forced to work closely with a man she had once loved.
