Langley salvages a landing craft, and is then thrust into adventures on the beaches of Sicily, Vibo Valentina, Yugoslavia and Anzio. Meanwhile the preparations for Operation Overlord are being finalized. Crucial to the British effort will be the dawn landing on the Normandy beach codenamed Sword.
