Wendy Douglas grew up in a newspaper family and learned early the joy of the written word...and the pain of deadlines.Wendy lived for more than 30 years in Alaska before she moved to Texas to thaw out her bones. In Alaska, she worked as a scretary, office manager and marketing specialist for engineering and architectural firms before moving on to aviation to manage an air charter operation and a flight school.
