When lovely, dark-haired concert pianist Lorna Forrest and composer Ranald MacDonnell meet at a music festival, they are immediately drawn to each other. Only later does Lorna learn that the handsome young man is the Laird of Coigach and owner of a splendid old castle. Lorna's holiday visit quickly plunges her into mystery, as a series of thefts all seem to point to her dishonesty. The suspense mounts, until a sinister murder plot backfires, and the startling truth is revealed.
