Trevor Dalton began his writing career in Birmingham, aged 14 where he was writing poetry. After the death of his father the family moved to Wales where he had some success and had some of his poetry published. He had to wait until his fifties before he wrote the first full length novel. Asked why it had taken so long he explained, "It took me until I grew up to find my voice!" Now that he has found "His voice", he is busy working on his fourth novel. Trevor now lives in Spain with Brenda where, as he says, he is happy.
