Picking up where the first novel, 'Resident Evil: Genesis' ends 'Apocalypse' gets off to a quick start and keeps a break neck pace throughout the entire novel. Writing is effective and descriptive as it was in the first novel, providing plenty of character insights and background information that will make viewing the film it is based on that much more enjoyable. An excellently written movie tie-in.
