Nora arrives in Lintonville with the intent of recovering a lost college friendship as the result of a tearful plea for help from her once close friend, Marcy. When she arrives, however, she makes the shocking discovery that the town has literally had the blood sucked out of it because of a bizarre contract between a vampire clan and the town's people.
