He grew up in a town called Coatbridge in Scotland, where he still live today. He studied Film & TV Production techniques at College.Upon graduation he worked on a freelance basis for various broadcast companies before being asked to join Scotland's largest commercial radio station, Radio Clyde, in 1997, for a bet. Jimmy works with Radio Clyde in Glasgow on many national radio campaigns with household names such as Martin Clunes, Johnny Vegas, Ruby Wax, Denise Van Outen, Julian Clarey and many more! Jimmy is getting married to his childhood sweetheart Lynn, in August of this year, after finally raising enough cash to persuade her. They live in Coatbridge, and have no dogs.
