Home to White Wings

(1969)

Fiona had been having a difficult time of it, so when her old Aunt Barbara wrote from South Africa inviting her for a long stay, saying she needed a companion-nurse, Fiona thankfully accepted the offer. The arrangement was a success from the start. Fiona loved South Africa, she loved her new home at White Wings, and most of all she loved the delightful old lady in her care. But perhaps her greatest love was for Nick Shaw, her distant cousin and that was where difriculties began to pile up for Fiona, for Nick had a beautiful sister-in-law, Lorraine, who was used to stopping at nothing to get her own way - and it was Nick she wanted now. Old Aunt Barbara knew that Lorraine would bring Nick no more happiness than his late wife had given him, and she hoped he would have the sense to marry Fiona - but the decision was Nick's. Would he make the right one?
