Kate Kershaw could hardly believe that she'd been jilted. Again. But she decided that this time she wouldn't meekly accept her fate. She didn't think she could stand to have more sympathetic glances sent her way by well meaning friends. Which meant letting everyone think there was more between her and Mark Brandon the good looking near stranger she'd invited to stay in her home than friendship. Of course, Kate knew that not telling Mark about her deception was a terrible mistake, but she thought it was worth the risk. And it might have been, if she hadn't fallen in love.
