Rock legend Johnny Waits makes the ultimate career move-he dies at the height of his success on a heroin high in the arms of record producer Christian Dexter. Carla Blue, a music star on the rise, drowns, with morphine in her veins, in the swimming pool of Dexter's luxurious Spanish villa. Carla's closest friend, Georgina Powers, is convinced something is terribly wrong-especially when she finds tapes of unreleased albums by both Carla and Johnny for sale at a market stall. The record company doesn't like it either, because Johnny and Carla are still in business. And, if the sales are anything to go by, they're better off dead.
