Read by Dawn is a new annual collection of contemporary horror fiction published alongside Edinburgh's international festival of film horror, Dead by Dawn.

Volume One is hosted by Ramsey Campbell, one of the world's best known horror fiction writers. He opens the volume with a story of his own, A Place of Revelation, which is a menacing tale of an unwilled rite of passage into the dark.
