R. Cameron Cooke is the award-winning, USA Today bestselling author of naval and historical thrillers. His first novel, PRIDE RUNS DEEP, won the 2006 International Thriller Writers' "Thriller" Award for Best Paperback Original. Mr. Cooke is a former navy lieutenant commander, who served on nuclear-powered attack submarines and wore the Gold Dolphin insignia of a fully qualified submarine officer. He has a degree in Physics from the University of Arizona, where he also received his navy officer commission through the Navy ROTC program. He lives with his wife and two children in the Southwest where he is at work on his next novel.
