It's always a gamble when an author decides to do something different, but I hope those readers who have enjoyed my Sonja Blue series will see ANGELS ON FIRE as a natural extension of the world described in my "darker" contemporary urban fantasies. Personally, I like to think of ANGELS as an life-affirming romantic fantasy that would have gotten me burned at the stake for heresy 300 years ago.
