But it's not enough to support his accumulated obligations to an ex-wife and a son, or his own expensive habits of women, gin, and cigarettes. If it weren't for his "odd" jobs, Griffin would never get along. And if the price is right he's not particularly fussy about what the job is or for whom he does it. This time the price is right and the risk seems worth it. Then, something goes wrong and halfway through his game the stakes change. Griffin finds himself stumbling desperately through his game the stakes change. Griffin finds himself stumbling desperately through a nightmare mission, suddenly no longer the hunter but the hunted.
