After ruining Julian Vane's plot to control the world's nuclear reactors, Tom, Mitch, Laura and Mr. Chance are in hot pursuit of Vane. But when their next plan leads to another dead end, they decide to try a different route. The crew, including Mitch's new friend, Brian Saito, sets sail to find the legendary Dragon Island, a place Tom has been dreaming about for a very long time.
