Lynne Connolly was born in Leicester, England, and lived in a cobbler's shop with her parents and sister. She has written stories from an early age, and her fixation with the Georgian era began when she was nine years old, after a school lesson on coffee and tea. Her novel "Harley Street" won the 2005 EPPIE for best Romantic Suspense novel.
