This story follows a new serial character in the BattleTech milieu: a man who became known only as "the unnamed soldier on Solaris VII." A veteran infantryman, security agent, and know a merc for hire, this character appears in several stories.
Intent on the battle for Solaris, the soldier is grabbed in a daring raid and taken back to the city, where the local yakuza make him an offer he'd better not refuse.
