Two apparently unrelated events mark Bill Atholl's return to England: he learns that his cousins have died accidentally,and, as sole survivor, he has inherited a farm in Yorkshire. Then, during a casual stroll through London, he bumps into a lovely redhead and causes her to break the heel of her shoe.
