Jim Crace recommends
Laura Blundy (2000) Julie Myerson "Dark, sexy and insolent. I hope to be startled and challenged by novels. Myerson more than obliges. " | The Death of Vishnu (2001) Manil Suri "Manil Suri's 'The Death of Vishnu' finds the universe in a block of flats; it is tender, caustic, witty and inspired." | Electricity (2006) Ray Robinson "Ray Robinson's Electricity is a thorny, uncompromising novel, with attitude." |
