Environmentalist Summer Shepherd has been kidnapped. An extremist group is taking the credit, but her father thinks she staged it herself to ruin his bid for the U.S. presidency. Only Duncan Ryder, her stepmother's brother, knows Summer is just a pawn in a bigger game being played by her father's wealthy Brazilian backers.
