What has happened to Robert? He's told his friend Tom a wild story of surviving danger and death in an underground cavern. Tom doesn't beleive it- but he still gets caught up in Robert's desperate search for a girl called Lorn. Robert says that she saved his life- and if they don't find her before winter, she will die.
