Mike Tilman, a shanghaied crew-member of the Yankee Star, jumps ship at San Francisco, having accidentally killed the bosun. Now he must flee home before the 'Frisco lawmen catch up with him. But it isn't going to be an easy matter and before long he is embroiled in a raid on the stage he is riding as a shotgun guard.
