C.R. Chandler loves to write thrillers and mysteries, with their dangerous cat-and-mouse hunt for killers. When she was growing up, serial killers were just beginning to show up on the nightly news on a regular basis--the Zodiac Killer, The Son of Sam, the Hillside Strangler (who turned out to be two cousins!), and of course, Ted Bundy. Why do they kill? What kinds of things would you do if you had no conscience, no sense of guilt or remorse? Finding the story behind those questions is her favorite way to spend a good part of her day, and of course, she still loves to read a good murder mystery. After that? Talking it all over with her Swiss Mountain Dog, Livvy, and enjoying a good glass of wine!
Born in Pennsylvania, she is a transplant to the West Coast, having lived in both parts of California (Northern and Southern), and currently lives across the bay from San Francisco (out in the suburbs with the rest of the commuters!). Her daughter is grown, so now the only other live-in member in her household is the ever-patient Livvy.
