L.A. private investigator Mike Faraday is asked by film comedian Harry Kettle to save him from the death planned by his partner Herman Stoltz. Mike, aided by his secretary, Stella, is soon up to his neck in murder, mayhem and intrigue. Shot at, sapped and almost a murder victim himself, Mike battles on.
