When Mike Faraday, the laconic L.A. private investigator, is asked by lawyer Andrew Dillon, to tail the scientist Dr Hugo Greenbach, he is soon plunged into murder and mayhem up to his eyeballs. Greenbach had stumbled on a formula which a lot of people were after, including a powerful Chinese Triad organisation.
