Lyne was otherwise known as Father Ignatius of the Order of St Benedict, Abbot of Elm Hill, Norwich and Llanthony and was famously eccentric, believing that the world was flat (because otherwise we would fall off it!), claimed to have raised a woman from the dead & cursed one woman whose son immediately went bald . believing that everything he did was directly inspired by God.
