Andrew began developing his writing career and at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2000 he was nominated for the Perrier Best Newcomer Award, for his show 'A MAN OF SUBSTANCE IN A WORLD OF FILTH'.

Since 2000 Andrew has appeared regularly at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, each year taking up a brand new show. Including BIRTHDAY PARTY, SUPERCUB and most recently in 2004 MAURICE CLARK: THE STORYMAN, where Andrew creates hilarious stories using audience's suggestions. Andrew is an extremely versatile writer and has done well at writing naturalistic sit-com, fantasy sit-com, hard-hitting action films, moving bio-pictures, coming-of-age dramas, game shows, panel shows, live comedy, fantasy novels and children's cartoons. He continues to perform regularly on the stand up circuit and is constantly developing new ideas.
