Paul Madison and his team managed to survive the first days of the zombie outbreak. Along the way, they picked up a new member, Lisa, whose mother and daughter are trapped in a townhouse in northern Virginia. With nowhere else to go, the group agrees to help Lisa rescue her family.
The route they must travel to Lisa’s place takes goes through dangerous and heavily infested areas, including the nation’s capital. However, nothing they encounter on the journey compares to the nightmare that awaits them at their destination.
