Charlie had all the luck. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the good kind.
Space Pirates? Check. Aliens? Check. Dragons? Check… Wait a minute, Dragons?
Charlie had thought having his spaceship sucked through a wormhole and crashing on an alien world was bad, which, admittedly, it was. But suddenly his dilemma was taking a very unexpected turn, and one decidedly for the worse.
As crazy as it sounded, it appeared this new galaxy was run not on technology, but magic, and he didn't have a clue what to do about it. This all should have been impossible. But then, so was wormhole travel—or at least so he had thought, right up until he was pulled into one and was spat out in a distant galaxy. A realm of marvels and dangers the likes of which he'd never imagined. It was enough to make his head spin, and as he faced up to his new reality, Charlie couldn’t help but wonder just how much worse his situation might get before he found his way home.
He shouldn’t have asked.
