In 1975, at the age of 21, Paul Hill was sentenced to spend the rest of his natural life in prison after being convicted on charges arising from the Guildford and Woolwich pub bombings. In 1989 he was released when the Crown admitted that the investigating officers had lied at the trial. His 15-year struggle for justice and freedom had been supported by respected British names, including Ludovic Kennedy, Lord Scarman, Roy Jenkins and the Archbishop of Canterbury. This is Paul Hill's story of his life before and after Guildford.
