There are two Mrs Machins, relics of the talented working class writer walter machin. for ten years they had lived together ni the dame house, not speaking to each other, still guarding his memory. walter was about to be immortalised by the literary establishment.. but before this happened there was a fire - then a murder. some where in the secrets of walter machin lay the secret that had led to murder!
