A vampire novel for those tired of glamorous vampiresI've gotten more favorable comments on this book that on any other I've written. I conceived it after I got tired of a wave of novels about glamorous, superheroic vampires. I wanted to do something that would put the monstrosity and accursedness back into being undead, and this was the result.
