Fallen Stars

Living terror from the cold, dark heart of space falls to Earth, and the soul of a living star goes missing. This latest battle in an ancient war will be fought in Shreveport. Humans and preternaturals alike are prey--and if word of Earth gets out to the Dark Ones, the planet won't last long. A celestial investigator is on the case, as well as the local vampires. The Fell Swoop rock band crashes the party, as well as Moth, a human-fey half-breed who's a double agent working for OPSCURO and XTIS, a secret government agency hunting alien life on Earth. In all this mess, Valorie, an Italian master chef with a struggling restaurant, may just have the world-saving recipe in her hot little hands needed to deal with the Demon Star.
