Catnapped

Caine’s spirit-leopard Leona has been catnapped in Fairy! To complicate the matter, the thief stole memories of the spirit beast as well, so no one even remembers her—except for the dragon-goddess Selene. She launches the Legion of 5 on their latest mission, with a brief stop in the year 1975 to hijack thirteen-year-old Caine Deathwalker for the task. The teenage demon-lord-in-training goes undercover among the Autumn Court fey, calling himself Led Zeppelin. As he ferrets out the enemy, playing detective goes seriously awry with the Nightmare Court involving itself. Worse, after a crippling battle, Caine is afflicted with random skips in his perceptions. An unseen enemy is stalking him, trying to keep him from his stairway to heaven and the mysterious Shadowlands where Leona languishes, her memories of Caine as lost as she is herself. Young Caine Deathwalker must dig deep for this one and unleash his inner monster to survive—proving to Xan that he is indeed the God of Pies.
