Mike Befeler turned his attention to fiction writing after a career in high technology marketing. His short story "Never Trust a Poison Dart Frog" was published in the mystery anthology Who Died in Here? and submitted for Edgar Award consideration.

He holds a Master's degree from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree from Stanford. He lives in Boulder, Colorado with his wife Wendy.
