Born in Dallas, Texas, and raised on a wheat farm in Kansas, Matt Bronleewe was a founding member while in college of groundbreaking musical group, Jars of Clay, whose success has taken them to the heights of the music industry with numerous awards and multi-platinum CD sales. Launching out from the band on his own as a record producer and successful songwriter, Bronleewe has since been responsible for a combined total of more than 20 million units sold worldwide-working as both songwriter and producer for major music artists such as international pop singer, Natalie Imbrulgia, Disney sensations Aly & AJ, Kimberly Locke of American Idol and many more, He is a multiple Dove Awards winner for his work with artists such as Plumb, Tait, Rebecca St. James, Rush of Fools, and Michael W. Smith-the latter with whom he co-wrote and produced "Healing Rain" which sold over 500,000 units.

Bronleewe's breakthrough to success in the literary world found his first novel, Illuminated hailed by critics as "a riveting debut" for its suspense laden intrigue and the Indiana Jones style adventure surrounding a complex and dangerous race against time to decode the illustrations within the Gutenberg Bible.
