Mrs Spoon and her dog take in a stray cat, and a family of friends is born. The neighbourhood dogs and cats harass them constantly, loathing to see traditional enemies on friendly terms. Mrs Spoon's family breaks up but, happily, joins forces again to help out when their owner falls ill.
