160 pages. Book and Jacket are both in Good condition. There is some light shelf and reading wear, but still a presentable copy. The only exception is a small inscription to the inside page. Annie Scanlon was the daughter of a poor Irish nily in the Middle West; but she was clever, ambitious and go-ahead. She married a young nhan of the wealthy Bolton family, who was killed shortly afterwards, and thus became fabu- lously rich. Thus she appeared in London society, created a sensation-and disappeared.
