This is one of Lillian Beckwith's many stories from her memoirs of her beloved Hebrides Islands off the Northwest coast of Scotland. This is where she lived for a long period of time and wrote semi-autobiographical stories of her life with the natives of those islands. She does an excellent job of presenting their slower paced way of life and how much she loved it.
