Kay Bratt

Kay Bratt is a child advocate and author, residing in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in South Carolina with her husband, daughter, dog, and cat. Kay lived in China for over four years and because of her experiences working with orphans, she strives to be the voice for children who cannot speak for themselves. She is currently an active volunteer for the non-profit organization called An Orphans Wish (AOW). If you would like to read more about what started her career as an author, and also meet the children she knew and loved in China, read her poignant memoir titled Silent Tears; A Journey of Hope in a Chinese Orphanage.

Amazing Gracie (2023)
Laura Drake
"Equal parts inspiring and poignant, Amazing Gracie kept me up late reading to find out if two completely opposite sisters on a motorcycle road trip will find what it is their hearts are searching for. Amazing Gracie is the kind of book we all need right now!"

Adulting (2021)
Liz Talley
"In Adulting, Liz Talley gives us an uplifting story of second chances and paints a poignant reminder that sometimes in life you have to stop living what others expect of you, and hit restart knowing what you expect of yourself."

The School Mistress of Emerson Pass (2020)
(Emerson Pass Historical, book 1)
Tess Thompson
"Sometimes we all need to step away from our lives and sink into a safe, happy place where family and love are the main ingredients for surviving. You'll find that and more in The School Mistress of Emerson Pass. I delighted in every turn of the story and when away from it found myself eager to return to Emerson Pass. I can't wait for the next book."
