A collection of three stories told from the viewpoints of different pupils of Hooley Street Primary School. The first is about new boy Gavin Lee Griffiths whose traumas begin before he even gets to school, when his path is blocked by a monstrous dog, the Hell Hound of Hooley Street. Jason Burrows's story concerns the class bully, Parnell, who claims to be scared of nothing. Finally, Emma is determined to prove she's not a duffer, when Doctor Slime splits her class in two and puts her in Group B. Jon Blake's previous books include the three novels for young people, "Geoffrey's First", "Holiday in Happy Street" and "The King of Rock and Roll", as well as two picture books, "Daley B" and "Impo".
