Echoes of the War

Four plays, each in some fashion relating to the war: "The Old Lady Shows Her Medals," "The New Word," "Barbara's Wedding," and "A Well-Remembered Voice." These stories reflects life and some attitudes in England during WWI. To American readers, the pages may smack a bit of aristocracy, but there is gentleness here as well.
