In Bounce, Paddy wants to learn how to relate to his eighteen-year-old son, Sean. The awkwardness that exists between them becomes more apparent in the days following a homophobic attack on the teenager after a night out. As a bouncer at a popular bar in Derry, Northern Ireland, Paddy is only too familiar with the demons that alcohol can summon, and his son's vulnerability terrifies him. He begins his own investigation into the assault when the PSNI admit that they have no leads. But if he does track down the thug, can he control his violent tendencies?
