Bleiler draws upon all areas of publication, ranging over stories from Victorian domestic periodicals, dime novels, pulp fiction, British boys' novels, experimental fiction, mainstream fiction, adventure stories, satires--any situation in which science-fiction ideas have served as a focus (and, with great imagination, including hundreds of works not previously identified as science fiction).
